2026 Develon Log Loaders/Road Builders DX225LL-7

Developed specifically for forestry applications, the DX225LL-7 pairs the recognizable power of DEVELON excavators with specialized forestry features.

With improved lift capacity and increased swing torque, the DX225LL-7 can swing heavy logs more efficiently, even when moving the load uphill. The fine swing function reduces the amount of swinging when working with heavy loads, resulting in better control and safer operation. And the one-touch power boost, conveniently located on the right-hand joystick, provides a momentary hydraulic boost when you need more lifting power.

It features a fully guarded, high-walker undercarriage and upper structure designed to hold up to all-day forestry jobs. Each track includes heavy-duty links with double grouser shoes and full-length track guards.

Forestry protection extends to the upper structure. Machine guarding includes mainframe reinforcement with full under-house plate guarding, updated boom cylinder guard, integral catwalks, heavy-duty side doors with guarding over the hydraulic pump and cooling system doors, and undercarriage guarding.

Sightlines are critical for operator performance and job site safety, and DEVELON log loaders provide the best possible view from inside the cab. A clear line of sight gives you a better view of the forward and surrounding areas. Narrow cab pillars provide less obstructed views, standard LED front and rear working lights help identify obstacles, while standard rearview and side view cameras provide a full view of surroundings.

To reach current emissions standards, the DX225LL-7 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst and selective catalyst reduction. Read about our Tier 4 technologies.
